College. It's the chance to meet amazing people, do crazy drunk things and make memories. Oh and learn things in class. Loyalist has an amazing hang out spot for people to relax and get to know one another. It's called 'The Shark Tank Pub' or 'The Pub' as I've taken to calling it. The comfortable couches and lounge chairs make for an excellent resource for students on a break from classes. When classes are done and students are supposed to be home slaving away at home, the Pub turns into... a pub! It's cheap entertainment for students who need unwinding. A nightlife right on campus is a quick way for students to meet other students they wouldn't normally speak with. The dance floor is an all inclusive, melange of students ranging from first year to post-graduate. On the other hand, it's a place for drama. A place where people dance with those they have not met before and long-distance relationships to become strained. It takes a lot of trust for long-distance relationships to be secure when one of the parties are out having a social life different then with their partner. And yet somehow, students live for the drama! They live and crave the pub scene. It's an addiction. The relaxed lifestyle and energetic
atmosphere change ones perspective. Students must learn time management skills in order to entertain the nightlife and maintain their school grades as well as possible. But if they can handle it, manage their time well and get through the drama then they'll have a great time at college.
